Women are part of humanity and might not want to starve to death in their own shit in old age, not everything is part of some Gender Conflict where The Men are the only ones who care about birth rates
Don’t go off at ME like i’m some birth rate champion fascist btw I’m literally the “people shouldn’t even be parents” guy, I’m just explaining to you why birth rates matter outside of fascist race replacement crank concerns because
If Humanity can’t survive without capitalism and can’t survive without people reproducing of their own free will
it’s something that matters outside of capitalism unless yes you want to just throw up your hands and go “i don’t care about a functioning society”
I would also add that, anecdotally, there seem to be a lot of women who want to be mothers but struggle to find partners and the stability to do so (up till recently this was the case for my sister, thankfully she found a good partner last year).
That’s not exactly an ideal situation for women either, if many of they want to experience motherhood but can’t.
