I was always told Costco employees get paid well in comparison to any retail job.
It actually shows in the attitude of the workers there. Workers at Walmart always seem worn down and irritable while workers at Costco always seem awake and engaged. It really is noticable.

I forgot about Aldi, since we don’t have it around where I live. Aldi is probably better. I don’t know about how the pay compares, but they respect their workers enough to let them work sitting, and that alone propels them to the top.
