I’ve never understood how what you choose to do is supposed to matter when they claim God knows everything, and everything that happens in your life is all going according to God’s plan. If these idiots weren’t so conditioned to worship their imaginary Sky-Daddy on fear of an eternal punishment from the all-powerful asshole that’s supposed to love them no matter what, half the world’s problems would disappear instantly.
I recently learned theirs a term for people who argue we have free will and predestination https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Compatibilism . It’s mostly a Calvinist belief?. IMO its kinda dumb but interesting nonetheless
I only read the summary (because all I’ve ever cared about in life is what’s most likely to be the actual truth - as I age, I’ve got much less time and energy to spend on explanations for what are obviously in the end still effectively the same bullshit sidetracking that people choose to fall for). Mildly interesting justification for what is still inherently just another coping mechanism for those that prefer cling to their bullshit fantasies instead of accepting the actual truth reality dictates they will have to deal with sooner or later.
Thanks for sharing, tho - I’ve bookmarked it for further reference should I need it when I’m in yet another pointless religious debate.
Fucking cult nonsense. It’s so repulsive 🤮
Praying is akin to meditation but has no real affect on the world around you, you would be much better trying to do something yourself or asking for help from those around you.
god actually DOES answer your prayers, it just seems like he doesn’t because you’ve never prayed the right way. you’ve never done the dance that goes along with it, and until you master the steps, god isn’t doing shit for you
That’s called coincidence.
You mean it’s not ↑↑↓↓←→←→AB?
Are you dumb? That’s not gonna work without Start at the end.
I am but a simple caveman. Religions confuse me. 🤣
In my experience, shit is ALL He ever does for me.
You’re still acting like he exists, but is hostile. Except, nobodies there.
Well, “He” does exist - except in my mind “He” is a euphemism for those who created God in our image. When I use the word “He,” I’m referring to all the assholes still aggressively propagating the bullshit - often forcefully.
