Would Alex Pretti and Renee Good still be alive if I voted? No, Trump won every single swing state. Would Alex Pretti and Renee Good still be alive if Kamala called for ceasefire and stop sending weapons to Israel? Maybe, she could’ve won a couple of swing states
take it from someone who did

It feels BAD
Translation: I don’t consider the lives of nonwhites to be human
I talked to my friend from highschool, who is gay, about the democrats being responsible for creating and persisting the systems that are oppressing people, including ICE. His response was that he’s going to VOTE for whoever will let him live. Which, yeah I get. But it was hard not to question how many lives of brown people worldwide he was willing to throw under the bus.
To be fair I think he’s slowly radicalizing anyways
CW doomer, maybe?
As a gay guy, my impression is that most American gays, particularly white gays, would throw a million Arabs under the bus if it meant they got 10 cents off their monthly transit pass. Who knows, maybe this is why I’m single for life.
To take things to an extreme, I would say that most Americans aren’t opposed to Adolf Hitler, they are opposed to an Adolf Hitler who considers them part of the untermenschen. If the literal, actual Adolf Hitler came back from the dead as a feminist and queer rights crusader, it would only be a matter of time before he became POTUS.
Yeah I mean I don’t need to speak super hard to this, but gay men (especially white gay men) are really super willing to adopt reactionary sentiment. I’ve heard absurd misogynistic shit from gay men, and had one of the most frustrating arguments of my life with a white gay guy about Dave Chappell being “right” about trans folk, and you better believe he used his position as a gay man to assume authority in this argument.
Yeah some of the most racist shit I’ve ever heard came out the mouths of white gay men. It’s infuriating to the point I don’t even know what to say. It got so tiring that I dropped out of the game once I was out of college, which, I hate to admit, was a long ass time ago.
Yeah I’m missing out but I’m just done with playing the game of waiting for whatever reactionary surprise is lying in wait. My life is good enough and I’m lucky enough to have a stable job with a good union flying long haul flights. Incidentally this is why I haven’t taken the advice of others and checked out the NGPA, because I remember what the gay club (wasn’t called that, but you get the point) in college was like (Ernst Röhm convention).
Yeah, I definitely feel the same way as a gay POC - but unfortunately I’ve even seen it in non-white but whitepassing gays.
It really does feel sometimes that there’s a correlation between people’s proximity to whiteness and their ability to overlook barbaric acts against others. And there’s often very little incentive to question the brainworms that proximity to whiteness brings, since they directly benefit from them.
So once white gay men became more tolerated in the west, they flipped the switch and became white devils like the majority of the rest.

The question to ask people like him is; How hard do you see the democrats fighting to keep you alive?
I mean, exactly. You really trust these people to protect you? They’re already rolling over on trans folk, and you better believe they’ll ditch you too.
You mean the pro slavery party that only stopped being the pro slavery party because the other party got more racist doesn’t operate with a single guiding principle outside of political expediency?
Afaik abolishing of antigay laws in USA hinges on court precedent, just like abortion rights did. And we all know how dems defended that one.
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Respect_for_Marriage_Act Brandon passed this after getting caught lacking WRT codifying Roe v. Wade.
Thank you. Can this too be repealed by Supreme Court?
On a sidenote, US lawmaking is an incredible mess.
AFAIK they’d have to say the law is unconstitutional but I don’t remember right now if they can only do that for new laws or if they can strike down old ones.
The real question is how does Kamala Harris feel after prioritizing Isreal over defeating Donald Trump?
Also the follow up question should be why does this person care about what Trump does?
If they can excuse genocide then they should excuse everything Trump’s doing
These people are scum and are never serious, just throw it back in their face
700k dead Palestinians I sleep
2 dead white people real shit
Genocide is a cheese sandwich
The real question is how does Kamala Harris feel after prioritizing Isreal over defeating Donald Trump?
Or for that matter, prioritizing defending Biden’s legacy over defeating Trump.
If only she had campaigned with more Republicans
She should’ve had campaign events where she showed off some bones of Reagan and McCain like they were religious relics.
Ya but now they’re hurting domestic people and not just foreign people…
The trick is to let them explain that’s their motivation, sociopathy like that turns off third party observers and undermines the fake morality play these dipshits attempt for the sake of their bruised egos
Then when they’re done explaining their sociopathic reasoning, immediately circle back to the first question about Kamala prioritizing Isreal over defeating Trump, it’ll send them into a confessional spiral until they just admit they’re a nazi who couldn’t care less about Trump or Gaza
If they can excuse genocide then they should excuse everything Trump’s doing
Such a good point.
Why are these people upset about the pool of shit? Splash around, hogs.
I did not vote for Trump or Harris, but I voted.
I did not vote for Biden or Trump, but I voted.
I did not vote for Hillary or Trump, but I voted.
Zero regrets. Blue no matter who is complete poo.
Edit: blue no matter who is worse than smelly poo 💩
Hillary could be on her third term, you monster.
People in the US would probably be better off if Harris had won.
Too bad she lost the most winnable campaign in history because she supported Israel more than she wanted to win. 🤷♀️
“people in the US” is doing some medium lifting there because she would’ve done a more competent and orderly deportation agenda, and the victims would stop being in the US.
There are deportation actions Trump is doing that are new and might not have happened under Harris. ICE probably wouldn’t be able to play musical chairs with deportation centers by shipping people all over the country to isolate them from family and lawyers, probably wouldn’t have tried deporting people to El Salvador or other third countries, probably wouldn’t be attempting to reverse asylum decisions and greencard holdings and even naturalization, probably wouldn’t be laying siege to cities and murdering people on the streets for the crime of talking back, etc etc.
Things are worse and we shouldn’t ignore this.
It’s just important to remember where the blame goes. Things are worse because Harris decided to throw the election for Israel.
This shit is so assinine in 2026; instead we should be asking Kamala and Walz how they felt about their decision to run on an unpopular platform.
Why is it always the voters and never our leaders who need to reevaluate their decisions? They are supposed to be political professionals for fucks sake
I don’t understand how these people feel more insulted and betrayed by nonvoters more than their fucking loser ass party leaders who drove them into a ditch
Right? Two points:
-
If Kamala ran on an identical platform except with the promise to abolish ICE and CBP, she probably would have been good enough for the majority of people across the left to hold their nose and vote for her.
-
More to the point, she didn’t run on this platform and instead on one of increased funding to enforcement agencies and so this smug posturing that is masquerading as a question is based on an utterly invalid premise. It’s like pointing at the genocidal NATO bombing campaign against Yugoslavia and saying “To all the people who voted for Bill Clinton instead of Bob Dole, how do you feel about that decision today?” as if the other guy would have been a better choice by virtue of the fact that he didn’t have his finger on the red button and you can’t prove for a fact that he would have pressed it (although we all know he would have.)
-
It is not the job of the party to appeal to the people, it is the job of the people to subjugate themselves to the party.
I genuinely don’t know how you can look at american electoral politics over the last ~15 years and not see how the leftist protest voters have been totally 100% vindicated.
Just look at the talking points from the 2020 election. The people claiming that Biden was the only one who could get rid of trump and destroy maga fascism forever look completely foolish. The people claiming biden was gonna continue to slide the country further to the right and lead to something worse than trump1 were 100% on the money. Repeat for the discourse from 2016, 2012, 2008, etc.
I feel vindicated in not voting for Kamala, but I feel soooooo vindicated in not voting for Biden in 2020, as much as I hate that I was right.
Literally everything I said would happen if Biden won came to pass. He did nothing to improve things, or even meaningfully undo the harm of Trump 1. He gave them time to regroup and plan and then handed them the election on a silver platter.
Trump and his cronies wouldn’t have been this well organized and ready to act if they had won in 2020. It would’ve been the same rate of decline we were on before, probably barely indistinguishable from Biden. All Biden did was piss them off and give them time to strategize, so when they came back in they had a plan.
he was already senile then too and everyone just pretended that saying “black kids would do better if their parents put on the record player” during a debate wasn’t disqualifying. or that extended monologue about kids sitting on his lap and touching the hair on his hairy legs
Remember when his eye just exploded on stage lol
mfw reality becomes an Aamon Animation
Also, if “less genocide” was your most important issue in 2024, you should still feel vindicated! Under Trump there has been less genocide than under Biden! I know the “ceasefire” is a farce but they are killing significantly less people than before.
The extent to which fascist thugs executing civilians in Minneapolis justifies voting in support of fascist thugs who wanted to continue to exterminate civilians in Gaza for 8 years straight is outweighed by the fact the latter is a genocide that’s much larger in scale than the occupation in Minneapolis. It’s so supremely backwards to lead the question by mentioning Gaza. Like, yes, it was obviously correct to sit out supporting the Democratic candidate when she was promising to continue a genocide that had already killed more than a hundred thousand people. Why even ask it this way?
Literally the only way this question makes sense is if you apply Israeli logic and one Palestinian life is worth an infinitesimal amount of an American one.
Almost like that post was made by some sort of lib.
Don’t forget Biden deported more people than Trump 1. They don’t care about ICE. They care that it’s happening to white people where they can see it.
white and where they can see it are somewhat independent.
there’s a cohort of white moderates who are upset by the spectacle, regardless of the target, but wouldn’t care if it was happening to other white people as long as it wasn’t them.
there’s a separate cohort of hogs who are really mad about shit like Waco, Ruby Ridge, the murder of Daniel Shaver, and these last two, but cheer on any atrocity against nonwhites.
i’m sure some people who thought getting the Cheney endorsement was a good idea are more mad that it’s white victims but I don’t know how you’d measure that and I think they’re primarily still who King wrote about in Birmingham
Remember, the democratic party can never fail, it can only be failed. It’s not their job to win votes, it’s all of our jobs to vote for them no matter what
Exactly. We can’t actually expect them to represent us, we can only subjugate ourselves to them in the hopes that the lesser of two evils isn’t, infact, completely evil but with a smiley face.
Slay, kween
I didn’t sit it out
spoiler
I voted Claudia
Me too, on the useless ballot they gave us because they did the sick joke of doing a mock Presidential ballot in the Puerto Rican election. Still was spiritually satisfying, and AFAIK they weren’t counting PSL votes in a bunch of states regardless.
on the useless ballot they gave us because they did the sick joke of doing a mock Presidential ballot in the Puerto Rican election.
That is so fucking cruel.
To all the Kamala voters who refused to support Vermin Supreme, how do you feel about that now that nobody has a government-supplied pony with which to form a mounted cavalry unit to charge and rout ICE agents from Minneapolis? 😏
E: as much as I hate the posturing, moral grandstanding, and the absolute glee the progressive take when they do that hackneyed old “leopards eating face” schtick, I am lowering my standards to meet the level of Yankee political discourse and I’ve decided that I’m going to start responding to progressives like the one in this post by referring to the democratic party as the “leopards who eat slightly fewer faces in a more polite fashion” party and I’m gonna poison their smug bullshit.
“Oh, did you think that the leopards wouldn’t eat your face just because you voted for the ‘leopards who eat slightly fewer faces in a more polite way’ party? Oh you sweet summer child.”
It’s really gross taking like that but it’s the language that progressives understand because of how it resonates with them. If I can drill it into the heads of a few libs then every time they next see cringey leopard-posting from their echo chambers it’s gonna sour the taste of it in their mouths.
Leopards who eat the faces of foreigners first
I am not a usa citizen, and did not vote because I am not able, evidently this is all my fault
I didn’t sit it out! I voted for Claudia de la Cruz
❤️
they really don’t like it when you say you voted for the woman who didn’t support genocide
Didn’t sit out, voted for Claudia in a non swing state. The dems are just a failure of a party, being more appealing than fucking trump wouldn’t be hard for anyone even remotely resembling a normal decent human being.
Same boat. Would have weighed the possibility voting Kamala if I was in a swing state. But doing a genocide and then campaigning on (ostensibly) more genocide while silencing all critics of genocide at campaign events made it very clear she would not have even pressured Israel as hard as Steve Witkoff did.
Taking the 30 side of a 70:30 issue that Michigan swing voters especially cared about was just stupid.
she fucking sent Bill Clinton to Michigan to repeat a bunch of hasbara and say their relatives deserved to die
No you don’t get it it’s misogyny
You don’t understand. The most powerless people among you who decided not to vote for genocide are the ones to blame for this. The Democrats were completely helpless. Not even Trump is entirely to blame. It’s the voters that are at fault.
