Tinymight 2 is so fucking good if you can afford one. Sexy as well imo and extremely efficient, when I have low tolerance my bowls are only 25mg and I get stoned on heat level 5. Even with tolerance I only ever go up to ~40mg bowls and am good for a few hours. Yes I measure every hit.

My last vape, a Solo III, came with a glass bong adaptor.

It paired with a glass honey bong is great.

The Solo III has a sensor too, so it knows it’s upside down and flips the display appropriately.

Yeah, I vape. Have been for a while. No vape ever came close to a good bong hit. But health is more important, so bongs are just for that one occasion per year when someone offers you a bong hit.

Buying a vape pays for itself because it’s so much more efficient. Smoking burns up half of the stuff you want in your bloodstream.

Buy a vape on credit today. Get a medium quality one, it’s good enough if you’re not a serious daily user.

Storz and Bickel have planned obsolescence and shitty performance for their price. A Limelight Frolic tops any S&B device

I have had two (Volcano) since 2007. One broke because a roommate dropped it repeatedly. (Jointly owned by community house of 5 people.) It lasted until 2014. My current one I got in 2020 and it has run beautifully since.

It doesn’t feel like planned obsolescence at all to me.

What do you mean “planned for obsolescence”? Been happily using one for three years now. The battery is starting to die, but that’s easily replaced.

You can get a good enough flower vaporizer for around 100 €$.

S&B are definitely outstanding though. Volcano is another level though. You can keep 30 people stoned out of their minds easily for hours with that machine.

A million good starter options, can’t go wrong with a Dynavap. Best combo of low tech, low price, easy entry, versatile, hard to fuck up, and great for someone transitioning from joints or bong rips (yes, the basic little Dynavap can crank out thick vapor if you push it past the click, especially if you also load some hash or dabs on your flower) 😎

You want warm water for a bong.

You can have ice in the throat as the smoke rises but do not filter through cold water.

Cool smoke can hit better, but counterintuitively, not when it is cooled through the filtration medium (water).

The biggest reason is condensation. Think about a can drink sitting out in the hot weather, and how water collects on the outside. When something very cold touches something very hot, the moisture condenses.

A very similar process happens when you filter the smoke, it passes through cold water, which condenses the humidity out of it as well as a lot of extra THC that you don’t want to condense in the water.

So you end up with a relatively dry hit, that is kind of scorching to the lungs in that strange way. Because you’ve got incredibly dry cool air now hitting warm moist lungs and the condensation happens the other direction! Moisture from your lungs is robbed into the smoke that you just inhaled.

As weird as it sounds, the easiest way to experience this is to notice the difference between a hot filter and a cold filter, when you have a little bit of a chest cold. You’ll be able to see just how much extra your lungs freak out when you take a cold hit.

All of this being said, clean bongs regularly and do not allow bacterial growth to form. Since I’m dropping three decades of stoner knowledge here, another tip is to use acetone instead of the commercial cleaners. One tablespoon of acetone beats everything. So it does a much better job than the over-the-counter cleaners, it’s way cheaper, and it’s a safe solvent.

It does, it also causes more damage to your lungs in a couple of ways.

One, the cool smoke reaches deeper into your lungs. Two, smoke being cooled down too much does increase how resin builds up.

So not only will you be sending tar deeper into your lungs, you’ll also be increasing the amount of tar that actually gets deposited in them.

Plus there is the possibility of thermal shock obliterating your bong, but I’ve been a stoner for at least a decade and have literally never seen it.

The one thing i miss about living in a snowy climate was packing my bong full of snow. Unbeatable
