    Tangent incoming:

I used to work in hospitality, and coeliacs were very common. I am convinced that most of these people either had no idea how serious it was to be a coeliac, or that they weren’t coeliacs at all

Every time, I’d say “I wouldn’t recommend eating the gluten free pizza. We don’t have anywhere to prepare it other than with the other pizzas” and every time they’d order the gluten free pizza anyway

Now a little bit of flour is fine for a gluten intolerant, but my brother in christ, you can die if you get even a small amount of gluten. What are you doing???

I have Celiac’s. We won’t die right away, but the damage compounds over time. Also, the next 3 days will suck.

Lots of people self-diagnose as coeliac because they know they have real symptoms from eating wheat, and there are a lot of people who claim to be gluten intolerant because they’re on a fad diet rather than because they actually have symptoms. That means that there’s an impression that non-coeliac gluten intolerance isn’t real, so some people who have it know they’ve got a real condition, so assume they have the thing no one’s claiming is fake.

Why does the recipe have “shrimps” plural but “peanut” singular? It’s opposite of the speech bubbles.
