Not using a SIM PIN? You should be. And Android 17 is going to make it a heck of a lot easier to do so.

So why don’t more people use SIM PINs?

Because we have never heard of them?

Entering one PIN every time your phone reboots is one thing

How often do people reboot their phones these days?

Mine is set to reboot after not being used for 6 hours for security in the event it is lost or stolen.

What android phone are you using? I can go fine for nearly a month. Would’ve been longer but need to reboot to apply security updates.
