Too young. He’s only 67. I’m 60, I guess I should get used to seeing entertainers I like drop off more frequently, until it’s my turn.

Take care, Bruce. You brought a smile to my face many times.

Bruce, so many good things he’s done, like Brisco County, Jr & Jack of All Trades (and the evil dead stuff of course).

    Beat wishes bro!

Yes 100% this. Mike was decent, Fiona was a bit cringe most of the time, but he was really amazing. He was the comic relief character but also had a decent mix of seriousness too. The mom was decent but he is definitely #1.

In fact I only really know him from Burn Notice and didn’t even realize most people know him from Evil Dead.

        Edit: typo

Amen! I thoroughly enjoyed both shows. I wish they were available for streaming somewhere! Both shows helped me get through a hospital recovery and relearning English. Stay strong Bruce!

Well, shit, that’s not very goovy. Particularly when the deadites seem to be taking over the world nowadays. We still need you, Bruce.

This man, is one the good ones, speaking from personal experience. Wishing his family the best.

Prostate cancer seems like it might fit the bill. Treatable, sometimes not curable, and people can die with it and not from it. Good luck, Bruce. Hope it goes well.

It’s actually weird he didn’t just name it. Health issues aren’t the best thing to keep secret. I mean I suppose some might be embarrassing, but cancers aren’t something to hide or feel guilty about.

The more people know, the more that can do.

Him naming it woulda probably encouraged people to learn about it, and may have helped some identify that they had it to.

Not naming it left it open to speculation, so that’s gonna happen, nothing wrong with it at all.

If someone like Bruce says get yourself checked, or “I wish I’d been checked sooner…” some people might pay attention and it would be enough of a nudge to get checked themselves. It happens all the time, someone will comment to a star that “you mentioned (you had “x” symptoms or problem) and I noticed similar things about myself so I got checked. It saved my life…”

          It’s helpful.

That said, it is personal, and if Bruce doesn’t want to share that’s absolutely his right. We don’t know how he feels about it or what he’s dealing with emotionally. People should respect that. I took a guess as to the problem, but I would never expect he reveal the actual issue.

A few years ago my step daughter was so excited to meet him at a comic con. She saved her money and was prepared to pay for the privilege. Before he opened his line she was one of the first there. She gave him a little wave of excitement. He loved at her and waved her away and turned his back. She was crushed and walked away. I really liked him as an actor before that. But I despise him as a person. No one should get cancer, but some people might deserve it.

I have never given a down vote that I felt was more deserved than now.

I mean think about what you just said. You said he deserves to get cancer that is potentially fatal and will definitely cause a decline in quality of life because you had a singular negative experience with him years ago? Really?
