Oh shit. He’s below 40% approval? That’s interesting. I’m not sure, but IIRC, that was pretty much his floor.

That’s the Republican base that votes R no matter what and doesn’t pay attention to reality. Dipping below that means some of them started paying attention.

Probably because they’ve finally been personally affected by some of his policies and are reacting to the fact that he’s not actually targeting who he says he is. That doesn’t mean they recognize the error… Just that they’re willing to break because they’re affected now.

The Pravda outlets keep trying to claim that Biden handed Donnie the WORSTEST 'CONOMY EVAR and YOU ARE LIVING IN THE GOLDEN AGE YOU PEASANTS AND YOU BETTER START SHOWING SOME GRATITUDE, and I’m sure many of these assholes buy that when they hear it, because I sure as fuck hear them repeating it like good robots.

But the cognitive dissonance of seeing $5/gal gasoline must be causing them a real headache, I’m sure.

Not just $5-6 gas, but grocery prices have skyrocketed in the past 2 years. A large part of the Base are retired and on fixed incomes. Paying more for groceries hits them hard, and is consistent week after week, month after month always reminding them and constantly contradicting the lies.
