It should just follow I-90 all the way over and turn it into a state highway

The way this ignores the curvature of the Earth bothers me SO MUCH. That had better be intentional trolling…

Looks like they also propose to move Alaska to mexico, for them to become almost neighbor to Texans

I think that’s the weirdest part of the map. Hawaii gets a black box, but Alaska and bits of Canada just get tacked on to Mexico.

This reminds me of the old maps of the post revolutionary war US where the colonies just kind of claim any land to the west of them to essentially infinity.

This was particularly fun for Connecticut because Pennsylvania was in the way so they just claimed everything west of Pennsylvania but Pennsylvania didn’t have a western border till like 1800ish so I’d assume that was a fun one those two states argued about pre Ohio.

I mean, early on many states had real claims to the west that looked almost exactly like this.

    https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/State_cessions

It’s funny how initial colonial charters just let them claim land all the way to the Pacific without really knowing how far away that was.

I love the ring islands of states left in Meggachusetts’ wake. Imagine being a road worker who has to commute across Meggachusetts to service the one road in Northeast Kansas

Connecticut originally claimed land all the way to the Mississippi river

Live and let die Meme trends happen, so please don’t message mods asking to take down maps that are repetitive to a bit.

Reposts Vs. Covers Not all reposts are evil- if someone posts something that has been done years ago, it serves to bring old memes to the new users. I call these meme covers. However it can be done in excess which makes it a repost and spam. Mods will determine if a post is a cover or a repost.

No impersonating mods I can’t believe I had to make this rule.

No harassing mods on an appeal We can talk it out, and we will be acting in good faith when making decisions. If you disagree with a removal, you are free to message for clarification or to appeal by giving some added context.

Bans Bans will be set to a maximum of 365 days for humans, and a minimum of 365 years for bots. I believe people can change, so if you are banned for good reason, do know that it is not permanent, it is just a way to say “take time to grow and come back when you are ready”.
