Some games will be more obscure than others. But I promise every game I post will have had a retail English translation.
Can you guess this game ?
I will post the answer in 8 hours (if not answered)
Looks like Evolution 2 from ye olde Dreamcast.
ye olde thanks for the reminder that the dreamcast is over 2 and a half decades old 🫠
never got to play the second but i liked the first one a lot as a kid and wished i had an extra mechanical arm
Got mine at release… still have it… can confirm I feel old. lol
The OG game worlds. But very close
ahhh. For some reason I didn’t remember the butler being in the first one. I actually still have my disc somewhere heh.
If memory serves correctly he’s the first member of your party ? Even before Linear ?? It’s been a long time since I’ve played
yeah… I played it when it came out… so it’s been a while. I watched some videos on youtube to job my memory and he’s in there. I do love that you’re like “ok… robot arm! check. magic girl… check! alfred pennyworth with a snper rifles… uh… check i guess? let’s go!” lol
Was going to guess Evolution, didn’t remember that there was a second one. That protagonists certainly looks familar, tho I thought his arm was weirder.
Either Evolution 2 or Evolution Worlds
The OG worlds !
See that’s the problem. I remember playing this game and having a blast till the final boss, but I can never remember the name and it haunts me. Thanks for the screenshot though. I know I didn’t fever dream it at least.
Evolution: The World of Sacred Device Publisher: Ubisoft (US) Developer: Sting Platform: Dreamcast Released: Dec 1999
Winner: Phar | Durandal
Thank you for everyone participating! Will post another tomorrow
This is excellent, I’m going to go look up the first two
Never played this one, but it vaguely reminds me of Ape Escape for the PS1. Probably close to that era, at least
I don’t have a clue, but I love the butler standing in the background of this seemingly adventure group.
He’s a member of the team!
Jongus and the Big Bungus 2
Looks like Dark Cloud or something like Skies of Arcadia to me.
