I sympathise with the need to implement Anubis or other “checking ur browser” measures given the wave of scraper bots nowadays. Being a relatively small site like The Cutting Room Floor and having your server costs blown out by Claude or w/e.

Anubis is way less annoying than the much more common cloudflare/google captchas
Anubis can also be bypassed just fine by a bot. The main thing it does is increase load on the bot runners.
Anubis could let most user pass without challenge just fine.
