January saw plugin EVs at 93.9% share in Norway, a new record high. All non-BEV powertrains faced higher taxes from January 1st.

    That’s from passenger auto registration, I wonder what the rate is for commercial vehicles there. That market seems to be developing much more slowly but my perspective is from far away from Norway.

      From what I’ve noticed while on commutes is that most commersial stuff is electric. Busses, company vehicles and other transportation has switched to electric, but long haul trucks have not. I assume that’s because of the energy density of diesel for stuff like transportation of heavy products.

        Do they use large transport trucks like are common in the US or is that freight moved more by rail?
