My current job, I applied and got a call from HR for a short phone call to schedule another longer phone interview later that week.

They ghosted me, a week later a staffing company cold called me about a position that later turned about to be the same one I got ghosted on. They were able to get me an interview with the manager I’d be working for which I aced, and they hired me at a rate above what I was hoping for.

If HR hadn’t fucking ghosted me they would’ve had me a week sooner at lower pay, instead it took longer, they paid me more, and had to pay the staffing company a finders fee on top of it all.

What do you plan on studying?

I work in IT, so studying for and passing some kind of certification and then job hopping is the most direct path to $$$, as for what cert specifically? Dunno, when it’s not knowledge I get to use daily it’s hard to find the motivation to sit down and consistently study. The stuff I find interesting feels like it would be less helpful in a job hunt cause I’m just so far down the ladder from where it would used, and the stuff I should study is boooooooooring

you can try scouring places like craigslist for furniture people don’t want, literally free if you can transport it type shit

• make any kind of progress with eating disorder
• continue the lazy exercise I’ve had going the last couple months, at a minimum
• attempt to date instead of doing nothing and feeling lonely
• study my way into a better paying job
• take better care of myself, generally
• be a more attentive friend

I haven’t played it myself yet but Lorelei and the Laser Eyes is supposed to be that same Outer Wilds/Obra Dinn vibe from what I’ve heard

Ah, okay. Out of the ones I trialed dex was easily the worst for me, literally made me feel like I was gonna die. I’m on adderall now which is chemically similar but somehow works much better. I hope you find a med that works for you!

As someone with ADHD, this whole comment is screaming ADHD. If you have the means get in touch with a psychiatrist! Meds aren’t a magic bullet that turn you into a normal functioning person 100% of the time but they’re genuinely life changing when you find a medication that works for you!

I don’t have high hopes tbh, it feels like it would be easy to make an argument that he had reason to fear for his life after his address got posted online, and then say something about how even then he still had the restraint to only use non lethal force. If walked, I think Fuentes is fine.

Idk what I’d call myself and I think part of the reason is I just plain don’t understand what people mean when they say things like feeling masc cause it’s just like what does that even mean??? I’m just doing me what do you mean something makes you feel femme? I reckon I’m some kind of not cis cause I don’t think cis people spend much time thinking about it but maybe that’s off base? Idk

It’s confusing to me in the same way when I found out most people can see things in their head and it wasn’t like people talking in metaphor
