what’s funny is that the source of this meme is a women centric page: https://www.instagram.com/p/Daokk2EjGBK/
some people will just always find a way to twist things and turn it misogynistic.

again, this “interpretation” only works if the reader already has certain biases about women - specifically that women owe men a monogamous, serious, long term relationship, and wanting something casual, fun, noncommittal makes them “bad” somehow. which is the real misogynistic perspective.
and the meme doesn’t blame the woman in any way at all. the woman just doesn’t want a relationship & wants some fun without commitment. that’s it. anything else is just the reader projecting their own biases.

i’m imagining it. the content doesn’t change, so the meaning of the meme doesn’t change (fun without commitment). the only thing that could cause someone to label it as “incel” is, ironically, the reader’s own biases about women.
my points still stand.

this isn’t about relationships tho. it’s about having fun without commitment, which can also be 2-way. for example, my fling and i are keeping each other entertained without the expectation of anything serious.

nah, relegating a woman’s expression of libertinage, vanity, or playful detachment to the realm of “inceldom” is deeply puritanical. it suggests that women aren’t allowed to be chaotic, selfish, or purely driven by the ego-boost of the chase. it assumes women must only want wholesome, committed love & be passive, relationship-seeking partners

the concept of a female perspective meme about libertinage being an incel meme…
the only angle i see in which it could be seen that way is if you think all women are puritanical prudes, which is misogynistic. ironic.

i’m in my feels today

we’re on a boat which is an ideal location to be perpetually nude (sunbathing, swimming, no need to go anywhere else, etc.)

and don’t even get me started on the “mark this as NSFW, please” police patrolling around here, lmao. (the tamest post you can imagine.)

oh, i’ve always found it kind of funny, actually.
the fediverse/lemmy have a very progressive demographic, but they can also be surprisingly prudish when it comes to anything sex-related, especially when it’s coming from a female perspective.
after being on here for months, i’ve somehow been branded as “the horny poster,” even though most of my posts aren’t explicitly horny or freaky. they’re more observational, almost diaristic, in the way they approach these kinds of topics. for example, i don’t find this post horny or freaky at all.

just casual nudity

i wonder how many people have blocked me so far…

long term, no
frequent dedicated days for it, yes😌

it’s a troll account (check their post history, their modus operandi is saying outlandish ragebait, they have a comment that goes “if you pay taxes in the US you’re a genocidal maniac” for example). don’t engage or give them any attention, report and move on.

yeah, he’s in his 50s

my fling told me that, in his five decades of life, I’m the first person to ever lick his pits🤠

I actually thought about this. I don’t think when I’m 50 I’ll be into older men anymore, since what I consider “older men” now would either be around my age or just old-old men, lmao.
that’s literally what i said as well. the only way you could read this as a “women bad” meme is if you have certain negative preconceptions about women / projection.
