    I remember this, used extensively 10-15 years ago

    Is has been superseded by winget, which has a much larger app selection and is pre installed in every supported consumer windows version

    Need Firefox? Just run winget install firefox

    Now you can update everything by just typing winget update -all

      It’s not the same thing. Winget is a fullfletched package manager. It is just for installing a custom set of applications. It’s particularly friendly for people who fear the command line, but do know where to find the any key
