    Unlike this guy, I see absolutely no reason to ever give Google the benefit of the doubt as to their intent, so I’m certain that this is done to make every video look like AI slop, so that in the end viewers become accustomed it and won’t be able to tell the difference anymore.

      My immediate thought as well, this is to make it harder to differentiate to help desensitize.

    I’ve heard some creators have had issues with their videos being auto dubbed into other languages by AI, and it is absolutely abysmal, and actively hurts their audience in other countries because people think the video is just AI slop. Google knows that no one actually wants AI videos, the only audience are bots and people too ignorant to notice that it is AI, so they have to shove it in everywhere in order to normalise it and make people begrudgingly accept it.

    “Look at these two videos and see the difference” the guy says and proceeds to not show them side by side. Even though they are vertical vids and he easily could do it. Amazing.
