There was lot of that kind of thing in the headlines. But not in the headlines of the kind of “news” Trump supporters are reading.

And eventually the oligarch pieces of shit will own all the farms-- bought up from their dumbass voters when they can’t pay anymore-- and we can watch the prices skyrocket even more out of their sickening greed.

        TL;DR: Mixed

Vance invested money in AcreTrader, an app that sells shares of real estate investment trusts. While this process does not sell U.S. land directly to foreigners, it does allow foreigners to invest in companies that own American farmland. Vance’s present level of investment in AcreTrader is unclear.

The cynic in me thinks Snopes stopped showing clear results so people would be forced to read the whole article, resulting in more advertising revenue…

It probably has more to do with less reliable journalism existing overall. They can’t pull from all these other news outlets cause they’ve been scared to give Twumpy-wumpy a tantwum.

Always nice to be reminded that Democratic voters are a-okay with fascism as long as it’s pointed at the right people.

    Your messaging is so stupid.

You shouldn’t be laughing. You should be courting these votes, because you know you need them, and it should be easy even for tone-deaf, moronic Democrats to snatch up the votes of disaffected farmers.

We warned them, over and over and over. After a while of being distressed, its hard not to laugh at the hypocrisy/irony. I feel bad for them, and us. But I know if the tables turned they would not feel bad if it happened to me. Which as a health care provider during covid, it did. And they didn’t care or even try to help the situation. We are all going down on the ship they blew a hole in.

Democrats also sat by and ignored that people got poorer and poorer because a Democrat was in charge, and the party’s focus isn’t the people, but to serve the ego of their leader. (Not unlike MAGA.)

Just like they’re doing now, laughing about egg prices, because of course it isn’t a big deal that food is becoming cost-prohibitive.

No wonder no one listened to Democrats.

The farmers complaining were affected by tarrifs and policies put into place by Donald Trump in his first term.

Soy bean markets were absolutely obliterated by his policies put into effect by the person they voted for… again…

Democrats did nothing to make these changes, but somehow according to you, it is the democrats fault.

          🙄🙄🙄

I will always laugh at fascists shooting themselves in the foot.

          Also, youre a dumbass.

While I agree with your point about productive messaging, maybe accusing people who have had fascism shoved down their throats of being “okay with fascism” isn’t the most productive approach either. There’s a bit of pot and kettle going on here.

It would be nice if everyone was always level-headed and emotionally mature enough to maximize every opportunity for positive change.

But over here in reality, the exact people that created this mess, with the explicit and overt intention of hurting others, are now reaping what they’ve sown. It’s inevitable that’s some people are going to experience some schadenfreude.

If you’d like others to be all sunshine and rainbows perhaps pump the brakes on the judgment and lead by example.

We certainly can laugh. These idiots voted this on themselves despite us screaming at the top of our lungs in warning. They specifically voted to hurt other people. It is funny that they got hurt. No - we aren’t courting anyone, people should just not be idiots and vote intelligently. But these idiots keep listening to right wing media and it makes no difference what we say - they will fall for whatever the right wing narrative is now. And we probably won’t get fair elections anymore so it’s too late and we might as well just laugh.
