The game streaming service will make almost all of its users pay extra for extended access.
Next up is rentable GPUs with a subscription. You’ll eventually own nothing
I mean, that exists. Just not for gaming specifically
First they came for your music. Then they came for your movies. They came for your Games. Now they want your computers.
And now the other shoe drops. We can see what kind of future these companies are shaping for us. Where you have to pay them a subscription fee in order to use premium hardware. While they slowly stop selling it to the public.

That’s just the game plan for NViDiA
I wish I could hit 100 hours of playtime a month.
Still cheaper than buying a gaming PC by far.
Got kids?
And a spouse who wants together time. Also other hobbies than gaming.
The only thing I consistently do over a 100 hours a month is sleep 😅
Aye, same. Should hope you’re getting more than 100 hours of sleep!
Second highest is work. Boo.
Have you considered local 2 player games?
And a spouse who wants together time.
That’s nice.
Yep. All this outrage, but 100 is a lot of time. I’d consider it if the picture quality wasn’t terribly bad in my region.
You’re literally the boiled frog right now and it would be funny to watch if it wasn’t so sad.
Destiny players looking nervous
Just part of the lifecycle of every digital service.
First time I heard of this saas
Use Boosteroid instead.
Fuck NVIDIA.
Hey! Thanks for providing another option for me to check out! Appreciate
Then what’s the point
Oh come on! I could get through that in just over four days.
That’s better than what I heard earlier. The article o read the other day made it sound like it would buy the next block of 15 hours
Changes like this are to be expected considering the fact that the average RGB Joe Doe consumer swallows everything while throwing crap at it simultaneously.
Sincerely not a subscriber that swallows everything.
I prefer buying Nvidia stock instead of their offerings
Get a GPU and install moonlight. You can even do gpu passthrough and do it on a VM.
IIRC it used to be 50 hours. Most people don’t hit that.
As a Mac user in an area with good ping, I like GeForce Now. I’m not currently subscribed, though I have been in the past. Recently I’ve been leaning more into my Xbox for gaming.
IIRC it used to be 50 hours. Most people don’t hit that.
Adding this limit doesn’t make sense then. Why anger your customers for minimum benefit?
