It’s a corpo novel series written by a collective hired by HarperCollins. They’re owned by Rupert Murdoch’s News Corp, but I haven’t heard anything problematic with the series.

Aside from that, the series is surprisingly good. Its a far cry from most dystopia I’ve read thus far, a much more realistic depiction of revolution imo.

I never had the opportunity to read warrior cats in my childhood. Is the series still worth reading as an adult?
