Over 80% would at least not give a shit if he died in his sleep, over 70% coup (bad take, it’d be a Nazi general), and over 55% if he just straight up got got. Wild.

I really want to know what’s going through the mind of the 10% who answered that they’d feel very negative about Trump dying in his sleep. Is it a case of “I wish he had died another way” or is it a lib respectability “its a shame when anyone dies” take?

Edit: I could see a “Vance is going to be so much worse” as reasoning, but somehow I doubt that.

I’m sure the vast majority of them don’t want him to die before he goes to jail, because they still assume that someday someone somewhere will magically take him to court and “justice will prevail” or some shit

So there’s people who would rather live in a military dictatorship than celebrate the assassination of an actual fascist? bruh

i think there would be a bunch of random violence against minorities and dem politicians in response to someone finally actually getting him, while liberals are perfectly happy to ignore the structural violence that would undoubtably occur in a us-military dictatorship.

Assassination wouldn’t be civil. It’s important to peacefully and politely hand the keys to a junta rather than allow political violence. @Civility@hexbear.net gets it

In that scenario there is no way it’s being led by Kegsbreath, it would be one of the generals he keeps insulting who thinks he’s a moron

Not that a military coup is in the cards, but if it were to happen Hegseth is facing the wall right alongside Trump

Yeah, the level of trust people have in the military is astonishing

Like, I still remember when George Floyd was murdered, you had liberal vets being like, “This is outrageous, this would never happen in the Army/Navy/Marines/Space Force!”

And it’s like, we know the US military just openly targets civilians, we know they have unprecedented amounts of sexual impropiety and assault, we know they just murder each other all the time too

      But the leaders are trustworthy!
