Please and thank you
I am going to shamelessly promote myNoise.net, which is a superFuckinCool website with a gazillion different noise machines and a lot of different options. It feels like a relic of the old internet, lots of personality and some very clean, modern design. The guy who runs it makes these soundscapes for a living, just going around recording sounds and turning them into this.
Its got normal stuff like white noise, rain, waves on a beach, and babble (plus restaurant sounds, which can be turned on or off). Theres some wierd ones like the inside of a WW2-era bomber, a brain massager, and like fifty automatic music generators like this one called Shroom with a View. Some of my favorites are behind the paywall ($10 donation for lifetime access, just saying) so I can’t share them but theres a haunted house, a construction site, an alchemy lab, and a S.T.A.L.K.E.R. themed one.
Also there’s a mobile app but I dont really use it and cant say much about it other than donating to one doesn’t give you full access on the other.
I was already familiar with this site but it’s been years since I checked in. The “summer night” bug sound thing really does counteract my tinnitus in a really surprising way.
My tinnitus isn’t particularly bad, but it is nice to experience what it’s like not to hear it for a bit.
oops, forgot to include the brain massager and the one thats supposed to cause panic attacks or something idk it makes me feel normal because im so dArK aNd TwIsTeD iNsIdE

i like Minecraft Ost. A lot of good Tracks and if it’s from a music streaming app you’ll get good recommendations, or I hope so. C418 is good.
- Bach’s Brandenburg Concertos
A list of one item? I’m decidedly uninspired right now. But I do mention more in the final sentence. I always use random play when I have music on the background. I could listen to those concertos for a super long time - let’s say many hours a day - day-after-day and not get tired of them.
If you don’t already - it’s good to use compression. For example - these are my VLC settings…

With compression - I can listen to Beethoven’s symphonies and overtures in the background too. It’s not chill but it’s no longer SYMPHONIC so not overpowering either.
